Terms of Service

Effective Date: 1 October 2025

Dirty Secrets Cleaning (ABN: 55 170 171 357) (“Dirty Secrets Cleaning”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides cleaning services subject to the following Terms of Service. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms, which apply to all of our services, including Residential, Commercial, Bond, Build, and NDIS Cleaning.

1. Services Provided

We provide cleaning services including but not limited to residential, commercial, bond, and build cleans. Services are typically provided at a fixed price, with scope agreed at the time of booking. 

2. Bookings & Payment

  • All bookings will be confirmed via email or phone.

  • Invoices are issued through Xero and may be paid by credit/debit card or bank transfer.

  • Payment is required in line with the due date specified on the invoice.

  • No upfront payment is currently required unless otherwise agreed.

3. Service Quarantee

We stand by the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied, please notify us within 24 hours of the service.

  • A re-clean will be offered where appropriate.

  • Refunds are not provided.

4. Cancellations & Access

  • Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled without penalty if at least 24 hours’ notice is given.

  • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a minimum $150 fee.

  • If our cleaners arrive at the property and cannot gain access, the full service fee will be charged.

  • Clients must provide parking and safe access to the property.

5. Safety & Limitations

​For the safety of our team, we cannot:

  • Move or lift heavy furniture or appliances.

  • Clean areas that present a health hazard (e.g. mould infestations, hazardous waste, pest infestations).

  • Work in unsafe or inaccessible conditions.

If anyone in your household is unwell (including flu, COVID, or other contagious illnesses), please let us know as soon as possible. We may request to reschedule your booking to ensure the wellbeing of both your family and our team.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop services if conditions are deemed unsafe.

6. Photos & Quality Assurance

Our cleaners may take before and after photos of areas cleaned for quality assurance, training, and internal record-keeping.

  • These photos will not include personal or identifying items wherever possible.

  • With your consent, selected photos may be used for marketing purposes (e.g., website or social media).

7. Liability

While we take care to deliver services with skill and attention, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear and tear.

  • Items not included in the agreed scope of work.

  • Loss or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our control.

Our employees are fully covered under relevant workplace and liability protections.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be handled under the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in law, services, or business practices. The most recent version will always be available on our website, with the effective date displayed at the top of the page.
